William K. Carmichael
Bill Carmichael heads SLC's General Civil Litigation and Personal Injury practice groups. Mr. Carmichael has extensive experience litigating cases involving commercial and general business matters throughout the United States at the trial and appellate levels, in both state and federal court. His practice focuses primarily on representing businesses in contract disputes and representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Before joining SLC, Mr. Carmichael was a law clerk to the Honorable George T. Smith, Georgia Court of Appeals, from 1977-1979. Bill has been recognized as one of Georgia Trend Magazine's "Georgia's Legal Elite: The State's Most Effective Lawyers" in the area of personal injury law (2005).
